On August 1, 2022, at 09:22 GMT, Mars will meet Uranus in the constellation Aries. The Red Planet will be the brightest of the two, shining at a magnitude of 0.2. The dim greenish dot of Uranus (magnitude 5.8) will be 1°22' away from it. It’s best to observe the duo through a pair of binoculars. In a telescope, the planets can only be seen individually as the distance between them is too far for its field of view.

We wish you clear skies and successful observations!
